Ricki the Dog needs a home
Ricki spent the first 10 years of her life in a crowded situation with an overwhelmed caregiver. At the Sanctuary, and then in a loving foster home, she began to discover all that life has to offer, including blankets, soft beds, and peanut butter stuffed Kong toys. She also began learning how to walk on the leash and ride nicely in a car. Ricki enjoys music, especially jazz. She's been good with all the other dogs she's met since coming to Best Friends, but she will need some time to get to know new people. Born in 2004, Ricki has lost all her eyesight. She's now ready to retire in a forever home with someone who understands her shyness and who will be patient and gentle with her.
